The EPRI European Workshop Week 2025, brought together over 200 participants from grid operators, generation operators, utilities, EPRI’s subject matter experts and invited stakeholders to join focused workshops dedicated to the application of the latest findings from leading projects and to define collaborative responses to the challenges facing the energy transition. The event features three days of focused workshops addressing the most pertinent challenges for the European energy transition.
Joep van Genuchten from EPRI presented int:net and EMINENT during the Technology Innovation session.
At the Technology Innovation track Joep and the participants discussed how understanding interoperability can help lift innovation out of the initial stages of development and help translate new ideas to large scale adoption. Understanding what it takes to create interoperable solutions can help in applying those ideas to new technologies and new ways of doing things, deploying them at the scale of the energy system and help facing the challenges of the energy transition.
