Workshop on Interoperability in the Energy Domain: the IntMAS methodology in operation
DERlab, together with int:net EU project, is organising an online workshop on Interoperability in the Energy Domain: the IntMAS methodology in operation, in which both interoperability concepts and the developed project tool will be presented, as well as an an interactive section on its implementation will take place.
Thus, we are pleased to invite you to save-the-date in your calendar for Wednesday, 19.03.2025 (via online) at 14h CET.
All the details are described below:
Background and topic
The EC funded int:net project has investigated requirements and hurdles for improving interoperability in the energy sector. One of the findings was that many types of instittions such as companies, associations or public authorities should implement a continuous improvement process into their management to plan and follow up their activities and contributions to the common goal. With the Interoperabilty Management and Audit System (IntMAS), int:net has prepared a practical tool to implement such a Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) model in the management processes of such institutions. The IntMAS Guideline describes the PDCA-process and until end of October 2025 interested parties can get (free) support to implement it. In addition, int:net has developed a label that can be used by institutions to display and market their valid and successful contributions to interoperability. At the end of their IntMAS implementation, institutions can use a self-assessment system to check their IntMAS-performance and receive the right to use the label. For a first glance at the project, check intnet.eu.
Workshop purpose
The Workshop would like to introduce and discuss interactively the IntMAS tool and labeling model with DERlab members and potential interested to test IntMAS themselves in an int:net supported future process. Moreover, interoperability concepts will be discussed.
Content and goal of the workshop
- Get access to latest findings on interoperability in the energy domain and related dataspaces
- Learn about practical methods to assess and improve interoperability performance of the own organisation
- Experience elements of the new IntMAS methodology to prepare a decision on the implementation of this management system
